The work was taken as a transformation of a bridge originally designed for vehicles into a new urban space connecting two city quarters and a city gate as well. The bridge will become a point of encounter and engagement between the two Trinitat neighbourhoods with a single platform design.
It enables better interaction between pedestrians and vehicles and provides the space arcaded with vegetation. It changes the image of the bridge to single out as one of the main entrances to Barcelona. The bridge includes vegetation, led lighting, and photocatalytic concrete and it is a Landmark in sustainability and environmental respect.
