Anna Codina

Born in Llobera (Lleida) in 1969 studied architecture in etsab (Barcelona) and worked as architecture coordinator of the Ministry of Universities, Research and information society (Generalitat de Catalonia) until 2002. She founded her own office of architecture working on plans and projects for public and private buildings showing creativity and very specific knowledge of building technologies, winning several architecture competitions and bringing the projects to reality. She has been awarded and her architecture was published in national and international specialized media.

Together with Toni Casamor, she creates VOLstudio in 2020

Toni Casamor

Born in Barcelona in 1991 studied architecture in etsav (Vallés) and founded  Baena Casamor arq.slp an atelier that developed projects and studies of architecture, landscape design and urbanism.

Toni Casamor has been a teacher of architecture in the ETH of Zürich (1991‐1992), in the ESARQ‐UIC, Barcelona (1998‐2000), Anahuac, Mexico (2004), Alghero, Sardinia, Italy (2005‐2008) and has been also Sheff Visiting Professor in the McGill University in Montreal, Canada, (2015).

Toni Casamor has been a member of the Jury for several competitions and arch. awards. For ex. he was invited to Jury member at the Washington State AiA awards in Seattle in November 2015. Toni Casamor has been also invited to give talks and lectures at numerous Spanish and international venues such as the Delft University of Architecture, in Cali, Colombia, the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Seattle, Genève, and  Luzern.

Toni Casamor has developed some international projects and has been invited to participate in several competitions of architecture and urbanism in Spain, Germany and Switzerland.

The most notable awards of Toni Casamor are the ‘Premi Ciutat de BARCELONA’ 2015, the first award of Premis Catalunya Construcció 2015, a finalist for Mies Van der Rohe Prize, First Prize MIPIM AWARDS 2013, a Special Jury Mention Catalunya Construcció Awards 2013, the First Prize 2002 AJAC Awards) and the First Prize in the 2nd Vallès Architecture Biennial 2003

The projects of Toni Casamor have been widely published in numerous European and international architecture publications and presented at lectures both nationally and internationally. For example, the Sant Gervasi Joan Maragall Library in Barcelona has already been published in more than 40 different international architectonical specialized platforms, blogs and magazines in Europe, China, Israel, South America and the United States.
